Since the roll out of the third runway proposal of the Hong Kong Airport, debates have been heating up in the atmosphere. The Hong Kong Airport Authority (HKAA), among with their allies, have long been stressing the the urgency, efficiency and eco-friendliness of their proposal.
At the same time, HKAA has poured huge money to launch their PR campaigns to boost their position, ignoring technical details and leaving restriction of airspace under the shadow. It is a pity that the HKAA has covered rational analysis by all sorts of fairy tales.
Airport Development Concern Network is launched by citizens from all walks of life. From residents in affected areas, to green groups to aviation activists as well as experts, members of the network have been presenting the doubts of the project in technical, safety and economical perspective to the public.
